Position Summary NYU Stern is one of the largest and most multifaceted business schools in the world and has always been among the most innovative schools programmatically. The school has over 5,000 students and a suite of degree and certificate programs including the flagship undergraduate and full-time MBA programs; part-time, Executive and Global Executive MBA programs; a range of MS degrees; and newly-launched focused MBAs in Tech and in Fashion & Luxury and Executive MBA in Washington DC. To support innovation in MBA experiential learning, Stern has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Director of Experiential Learning in our Office of Student Engagement. ? The Associate Director will collaborate with the Director to strategically develop, implement and evaluate experiential learning initiatives across Stern?s MBA programs. S/he will work with the Director on all domestic and international business development efforts. S/he will manage relationships with multinational corporations, subject matter experts, nonprofits, alumni and speakers. The Associate Director will develop and implement new and existing experiential learning programs including new courses, inter-cultural communication workshops, and project opportunities including for-profit, student-driven and faculty supported projects for hands on learning. S/he will develop key metrics on experiential learning initiatives and recommend improvements to existing programs or the creation of new ones. S/he will plan various experiential learning events, including information sessions, program kick-offs and other student engagement events. Qualifications The selected candidate will have a Bachelor?s degree (MBA or Master?s degree preferred) and 5 years of relevant professional level experience or equivalent combination. S/he must have experience in a service business that requires managing multiple projects while working with external partners and satisfying high-level constituencies. Proven ability to develop and launch new educational initiatives is essential along with excellent planning, communication skills, networking and relationship management skills. The selected candidate must have the ability to work effectively with faculty, students, administrators and corporate community leaders.
